These boxes exist as brief portals into my internal hellscape. My alter-ego is somewhat trapped within windows that are surrounded and being consumed by the abstraction. An intense hyperfixation of mine are dolls and collecting, evident in a variety of my work. By recycling the boxes my dolls were shipped in, I am taking something that has delivered joy and juxtaposing that experience by exposing an inner turmoil that can be felt during euphoria.
